Since April 2021, our company has entered into an agreement with the IT RUN Kids programming school to give children (9-15 years old) the necessary IT knowledge and skills. In May 2021, students from Khujand and Jabbor Rasulov district began a 4-month programming course.
Partnership with the University of Central Asia
LLC “Silk Road Professionals” started partnering with the University of Central Asia in order to provide more students from different majors with internship opportunities and help them start building their career paths. In summer 2021 we hired 3 interns from the UCA Naryn campus majoring in Computer Sciences and Communications and Media. The interns will be working with our team of professionals and acquire many new skills by the end of the internship. We believe that this is just the beginning of our cooperation with the University of Central Asia and we are willing to look for more partnership opportunities in the future.
Partnership Agreement with IT Run Kids Academy
On May 8, 2021, Silk Road Professionals signed a partnership and cooperation agreement with the LLC “IT Run Kids” with the aim of providing educational services to 24 kids from low-income families from Khujand and Jabbor Rasulov district.
IT Run Kids is a programming academy for kids aged 7 to 17 where they can bring their bravest ideas into reality by using programming and digital creativity. As a result, the students will gain basic programming skills, while working in Scratch and App Inventor, and will learn how to create their own cartoons and computer games. Both parties are interested in investing in kids to develop their logic and critical thinking from a young age. This is just the beginning of our partnership, and we are looking into more opportunities in the future.
Signing a Memorandum of Understanding with the Aga Khan Foundation Tajikistan
On May 1st, 2021 our company signed a memorandum of understanding with the Aga Khan Foundation (AKF) Tajikistan in order to establish cooperation for providing more people, especially youth and women from marginalized communities, with job opportunities and contribute to building the human capacity of young professionals. As LLC “Silk Road Professionals” is one of the leading companies in creating job opportunities in Tajikistan, following the signed memorandum, we joined the Coalition of Employees of Tajikistan which aims to develop the national labor force of young men and women. As a member of the Coalition of Employees SRP will contribute to the development of new talents in the local labor market, implementation of codes of conduct and policies for recruitment and retention of marginalized youth, creating employment opportunities for young men and women, and providing internships and other types of on-the-job training.
Partnership with the Polytechnic Institute of the Tajik Technical University
